Summer Art and Craft Classes with Jean and John Hampton

Whether your child/children/grandchildren want more art, arts & crafts, or both, these summer classes offer a wide variety of fun projects & summertime activities. They are geared to specific age ranges based on the complexity of the projects that will be undertaken in each class (6 & up or 9 & up) & each class has a maximum capacity of 18 students in order to provide time & attention to all participants. Kids 9 & older are welcome to sign up for classes in the 6 & up range, as well as for those listed for 9 & up, if desired.

About the Instructors:  Jean & John bring a lifetime of teaching & working with young people in the pursuit of art. Jean has taught art & crafts to children for more than 25 years & is an instructor with the ECAC’s Art to Go program. John is a photographer & artist & taught, among other visual subjects, junior high art.

Classes are held in the Carriage House at the Eccles Community Art Center. All supplies are provided for each class & included in the per student price. Class fees cover two instructors for each class, all supplies & help support the Eccles Community Art Center. Class fees are due at time of sign-up and can be paid in person at the Eccles Community Art Center or through their website. Cancellation policy for the classes: full refund if canceled 48 hours or more prior to class; 75% refund if canceled less than 48 hours prior to scheduled class; no refund for no-shows/cancellations on the day of class.

Participants must bring a sack lunch to class as lunch is not provided. Each class will provide a half-hour lunch period, with projects resuming after lunch.
