    Kathleen Bideaux

    Kathleen (Kate) Bideaux leads KB Consulting, where she designs strategic plans, provides professional coaching, develops grant applications and offers event planning to strengthen arts, education, and community-based organizations. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Illinois and an M.Ed. from Weber State University. Kate lives in West Haven where she raised her three children. She balances her professional work with travel, concerts, volunteering, and supporting creative spaces that uplift and inspire the Weber County community.

    Erich Goeckeritz, Vice President

    Erich Goeckeritz has been a passionate advocate for the arts in Ogden since being born and raised here. With a career rooted in libraries and higher education, he currently manages programming and exhibits at the Stewart Library at Weber State University. Dedicated to cultivating a vibrant arts community, he emphasizes inclusivity and diverse perspectives in all initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the Wasatch Front, practicing photography, and baking—though his true passion might just be his mild obsession with cats.

    Evaline Petersen

    Evaline Petersen was born, raised, and educated in Ogden, Utah. Evaline is a lifelong supporter of the arts. She owned and operated The Gallery Etc. from 1994 to 2002, showcasing local talent and promoting art in the community. Passionate about fostering a love for the arts, Evaline is dedicated to encouraging artistic expression within both her family and the wider Ogden community.

    Tyson Sperry

    Tyson’s appreciation for the arts started in his teens when he took up painting and calligraphy. That appreciation has bloomed as he has become more involved with the local art community of Ogden. A CPA by trade, Tyson enjoys spending time with his bulldog, Daisy, or relaxing with a cup of coffee and a crossword when not crunching numbers.

    Ashley Wolthuis

    Ashley Wolthuis was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. She holds a BA from Weber State University and a Master’s in Development Studies from Universitat Jaume I in Castellon, Spain. She began her career in Los Angeles, founding Red Sky Media and working in film finance before returning to Utah to launch Element Appraisal, Inc. A top-producing real estate agent with RE/MAX Associates – South Ogden, Ashley has earned numerous awards, including the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Titan Club Awards. She has held leadership roles in appraisal organizations and was the first real estate agent invited to keynote the Utah State Tax Commission’s annual conference. Ashley currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern Wasatch Association of Realtors and enjoys exploring the desert with her family and dog.

    Amy Wicks

    Amy Wicks is the Northern Utah Programs Manager for Utah Rivers Council, where she focuses on public policy affecting water conservation and also serves as the Great Salt Lake Waterkeeper. She has 30 years of experience in the non-profit sector with expertise in research and data gathering, program management, community outreach, strategic planning, advocacy, and public education campaigns. She served three, four-year terms as an elected official on the Ogden City Council. During her tenure, she spearheaded numerous conservation, transparency, fiscal accountability, art, and public engagement initiatives.

    Executive Director

    Patrick Poce is the Executive Director of the Eccles Art Center and a visionary arts advocate with decades of experience in both creative and business leadership. Even as Executive Director, he continues to be an award-winning florist and successful business owner, known for his eye for beauty and attention to detail. He brings that same artistry and entrepreneurial spirit to his work in the arts, leading with generosity, wit, and a deep commitment to community.

    Creative Arts & Media Manager

    Melissa Seamons is the Creative Arts and Media Manager at the Eccles Art Center, where she combines creativity and community engagement to support exhibitions, events, and educational outreach. With a background in nonprofit arts and a passion for storytelling, she brings warmth, clarity, and purpose to every project she undertakes. A trained singer and self-taught visual artist, Melissa believes in the power of the arts to connect people, spark joy, and build lasting community.

    Exhibits & Operations Manager

    Meredith Henderson is the Exhibits and Operations Manager at the Eccles Art Center, where her dedication, creativity, and sharp sense of humor make her an indispensable part of the team. An accomplished artist from a family of musicians, Meredith holds a degree in Anthropology, bringing a unique cultural perspective to her work. With an eye for detail and a heart for community, she shapes the Art Center’s exhibitions and operations with thoughtfulness, flair, and a touch of wit.

  • Pamela Clark

    Bookkeeper

    Pamela Clark is the Bookkeeper at the Eccles Art Center. With years of nonprofit experience—from bookkeeper to Executive Director at the Family Support Center of Utah—Pam brings precision, drive, and a no-nonsense approach to getting things done right. A licensed therapist and certified wine sommelier, she’s a dynamic multitasker and the go-to expert for balance sheets and Bordeaux—with just the right amount of sass.

    Weekend Coordinator

    Travis Pate is the Eccles Art Center's weekend coordinator. Having been involved with the Center in one way or another since the age of seven, Travis brings a lifetime of connection and insight to his role. He knows the center's history so well that he might just remember things that never even happened. His deep-rooted connection, creative spirit, and love for the arts make him a true keeper of the EAC story.

  • Tyson Pendelton

    Caretaker

    Tyson Pendleton is the Caretaker of the Eccles Art Center—a true jack of all trades and the steady heart behind the scenes. A trained artist, licensed Hatha yoga instructor, and all-around handyman, Tyson keeps the historic mansion running smoothly while bringing calm, creativity, and capability to every corner. His love for animals makes him the ideal guardian of the Art Center crew—especially its feline queen, Picassa. As the self-proclaimed keeper of the castle, Tyson ensures that both the building and its spirit are well cared for.

  • Marc Nelson

    Groundskeeper

    Marc Nelson is the Groundskeeper at the Eccles Art Center, where his love of the outdoors and thoughtful care help the gardens flourish in every season. When he’s not tending to the grounds, Marc is a professor of philosophy at Weber State University and leads international tours alongside his historian wife, Katie. With roots in academia, adventure, and a good pair of gardening gloves, Marc brings both insight and elbow grease to the Art Center grounds.

  • Picassa

    PicassaCat

    Picassa is the resident cat and reigning queen of the Eccles Art Center. With her striking black-and-white abstract markings (a nod to her namesake, Picasso), she’s both a living artwork and a beloved fixture of the mansion. At 13 years old, Picassa has perfected the art of lounging in sunbeams, inspecting gallery installations, and graciously accepting treats from her loyal human subjects. As the only full-time resident of the historic home, she keeps a watchful eye on staff and visitors alike.
