Virginia Tanner created the Tanner Dance Program in 1949.  The Eccles Art Center has long been associated with this program.  In the EAC satellite studio, students are introduced to Tanner’s creative dance with its focus on the development of the whole child.  Dancers develop technique through traditional modern and ballet exercises.  They explore creativity and imagination as they learn the elements of dance through age appropriate movement.  Currently the Eccles Art Center is supporting a Kindergarten through 2nd grade class and plans on offering a 3rd grade through 5th grade class in early 2022.  To learn more or to register your child for this creative, fun dance program; please visit: www.tannerdance.utah.edu
