Join Dr. Katie Nelson for a guided tour of the beautifully decorated Eccles family home and experience the magic of a Victorian Christmas! Travel back in time to Christmas 1898, when the twelve Eccles children celebrated Christmas in this very house. Discover the fascinating roots of many of our modern traditions, and hear about the ghosts of Christmases Past!

TOUR INFORMATION:

  • This is a guided walking tour through the historic Eccles home.
  • Guests will need to climb two stairways during the tour.
  • The home is over 130 years old and not fully ADA accessible.
  • Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for standing and walking.
  • Space is limited; advance registration is required.
  • Recommended for ages 15 and older.
  • Tour length: approximately 50 minutes.
