Taekwondo joins Kummooyeh lessons at the Eccles Art Center

Korean Martial Art Classes Taekwondo and Kummooyeh will be offered by Robert Reclusado at the Eccles Art Center of Friday evenings.  Children and Adults are welcome. Sir Robert Reclusado is the Technical Director at Utah Kummooyeh Association and has instructed at the MOD Taekwondo Elite.  He is a certified 4th Dan blackbelt in the Kummooyeh Association and a 2nd Dan blackbelt Kukkiwon World Taekwondo.

Taekwondo:  Korean martial art characterized by punching and kicking.  Form and kicking techniques will be taught along with no contact study sparing.  Kicking pads and shields will be provided.

Kummooyeh: a martial art based mainly in ancient Korean sword art forms and traditional Korean archery. Classes are fun, stimulating and physically active. Training involves wooden practice swords similar to katana, and foam swords for sparring. We practice traditional meditation techniques as well as Korean archery. Students will learn about respect and discipline. 

Student tuition per discipline $75/month.  Students may take both disciplines for $115/ month.  The instructor is currently running the following promotion: sign up for both and receive a Taekwondo uniform, making a referral with your sign up and receive free belt testing.

Classes begin on Friday, October 29, 2021 From 4 to 7:30 in the Eccles Performing Arts Building.
