Art in Red Coming June 2026

Get Your Red Ready. One color. Endless expression.
Coming June 2026

The Eccles Art Center invites artists to submit work for Art in Red, a monochromatic competition celebrating the expressive power of a single color. All entries must be created primarily using red, explored through shade, tint, tone, texture, and form. Black and white may be used minimally and only as accent colors, supporting the overall red composition rather than defining it.

From subtle and restrained to bold and expressive, this exhibition highlights the emotional depth, visual impact, and creative possibilities found within a focused palette. By limiting color, Art in Red encourages artists to concentrate on composition, value, surface, and concept—demonstrating how red alone can convey intensity, movement, emotion, and meaning.

Artists working in all media are welcome to participate, and a wide range of interpretations is encouraged. Selected works will be exhibited at the Eccles Art Center in June 2026, forming a striking and cohesive exhibition that invites viewers to experience red in new and unexpected ways.
