Traces of the West
Celebrate the enduring spirit of the American West at the Eccles Art Center’s annual Traces of the West exhibition. Sponsored by Ogden Pioneer Days, this juried exhibition showcases artwork inspired by the landscapes, people, traditions, and stories that define the western experience.
Artists from across Utah are invited to explore and interpret the many facets of western life—from sweeping landscapes and ranching traditions to contemporary perspectives on the West and reflections on America’s 250th anniversary. Working in a variety of media and styles, participating artists capture the heritage, beauty, and evolving identity of the American West.
Selected works will be exhibited throughout July in both the Main Gallery and Carriage House Galleries at the Eccles Art Center, offering visitors a rich and diverse artistic experience that honors our region’s unique history and culture.
Join us as we celebrate western art, storytelling, and the creative legacy of the frontier.
