Watercolor has the reputation of being a difficult medium but that’s only if we fight to try to stay in control & conform it to OUR will. Let’s explore the unique & magical qualities of the medium & learn to develop a relationship with it. Hopefully, we can allow for “happy accidents” and embrace what the water, gravity, paint, paper… do all on their own. As with all relationships, experience & time brings trust & a collaborative balance. Kristi, a life-long student herself, will share what she has learned & will endeavor to help you work towards your personal art goals & hopefully point out some new reasons for loving watercolor!

Instructor: Kristi Grussendorf, BFA, UWS, WWS, WFWS, NWS, TWSA

This is a 2 day workshop on April 21st & 22nd. A lunch hour made available for students. Students may wish to bring a sack lunch, snacks and water along with watercolor painting supplies.
