In this month of Thanksgiving, the staff of the Eccles Community art center would like to share our gratitude. The ECAC is thankful for the members, foundations, patrons, artists and volunteers that support the events, classes and exhibits which take place at the center.
This last year, the support received through the capital campaign allowed the art center's performing arts building to renovated. It is once again a state of the art facility.
The ECAC volunteers allow the Carriage House to be staffed, present Art-to-Go and Art in the Classroom lessons in the local Elementary Schools. Artists, Tim Peterson, Mary Wells, Susan Snyder, and Megan Fors have presented numerous fun art projects to Ogden City and Weber County school children. The volunteers from Target which assisted with the ECAC's children's art project during the Ogden Arts Festival deserve a big thank you! We will send out a early thank you to those volunteers/artists, who are scheduled to assist with the making of ornaments and the decorating of cookies for the Family Holidays Traditions Event on December 9th from 2 to 6 p.m. Dear Carriage House volunteer, we so appreciate you, without your dedication this gallery and the artists that it represents would not be successful. We are well aware that it is one of Ogden's best kept secrets for great local shopping, thank you for inviting your sharing the secret with your friends.
Through the Eccles Community Art Center's membership donations, grants received from foundations and funds raised during the art center Annual Art Auction (mark your calendar, it is March 3, 2018); the Eccles Community Art Center obtains its operating funds. Your generosity allows the center to be an active participant in the community, and allows us to fulfill our mission.
The Eccles Community Art Center is grateful for your continued support and wishes you the best during this holiday season.
