ECAC Carriage House Classroom

All experience levels are welcome. The purpose of the class is to familiarize ourselves with the characteristics and traits of the watercolor medium. How to use them to capture our artistic visions and transfer them to paper. We will cover basic forms from stretching paper, washes, brush techniques and effects. We will work individually on paintings as well as have groiup assignments and classroom demonstrations. A weekly critique will be held to allow for constructive advice and comments from fellow class members. Open painting time with the instructor is available for instruction and advice.

A minimum of 5 students must be registered for the class to be held. Drop-in students should call to confirm class is in session.
