Works by Lester B. Lee
Carriage House Gallery feature watercolorist, Lester Lee indicates “The subject matter for my art touches a little on most subjects found in art. Usually, I lean towards country-side nostalgia: farm buildings and the like. What does not vary, be it landscape or still life, is the simple shapes found in those genres. Simple geometric shapes, defined by light and shadow, light a spark in my soul. When those shapes and shadows catch a variety of bouncing sunlight, my soul goes from a spark to an explosion – an explosion of joy! To me, making art is pure joy.”
The Art Center's regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission to exhibits is complimentary.
