Traces of the West

The "Traces of the West" is an invitational competition/exhibit held in association with "Ogden Pioneer Days", a celebration commemorating the 1847 settling of the state of Utah.  This celebration hosts parades, concerts, the induction of honorees to the Utah Cowboy Hall of Fame, the crowning of Miss Rodeo Utah, and culminates with one of the longest running PRCA rodeos in the USA.  The Eccles Art Center's/Ogden Pioneers Days' Traces of the West Invitational is now in its seventh year.  The Eccles Art Center, Ogden Pioneer Days Foundation and members of the arts community are excited to showcase the work of great artists and great art work.  We are committed to the establishment of the Traces of the West as a premier art event in the Western United States.

The Eccles Art Center and the Ogden Pioneer Days Foundation are honored to extend an invitation to you to participate in the 2020 Traces of the West Invitational Competition/Exhibit.
